Maximus 2 is an action-adventure RPG set in a medieval fantasy world in which, by playing up to three different characters, you go in search of your king, who has been kidnapped by the evil enemy creatures against which you'll have to fight.The story in Maximus 2 is perhaps the least interesting part of the game, since it's a classic beginning for an adventure-filled journey like this one, which is where the real fun lies. Therefore, your mission is simply to go and look for your king, who has been kidnapped by the enemy. To do so, you'll have to face dozens of magical and powerful creatures. However, as mentioned before, it's the gameplay where this title manages to shine more than practically all other games in the same genre, and this is due to the perfect combination of its graphics, remarkable level design, and gameplay mechanics.At the beginning of Maximus 2, you can select one of the main characters for the adventure, each of which has their own set of moves and special abilities. With each of these characters, you can move forward or backward using the joystick, attack, and jump, although throughout your journey, you'll unlock new moves and special attacks that you can improve by investing the money you earn at the end of each mission. The number of enemies and bosses you'll face in Maximus 2 is enormous, and the difficulty of fighting many of them will exceed your abilities on more than one occasion, which is what makes each victory something to be celebrated. Maximus 2 is an excellent action game with outstanding graphics and gameplay that holds its own with any console or computer title.
