Magium is a text adventure where you take on the role of a wizard's apprentice who participates in a sort of wizardry tournament, where you face off against an array of opponents. Luckily not everyone will try to kill you and you can make a friend or two along the way. The controls in Magium are standard for games of this kind: you read what's going on and make decisions accordingly. Depending on the choices you make, the story will take different directions that may even lead to your death. (If that happens you can opt to load the story up to that point or start over again from scratch.)As you move ahead in the adventure, you can improve your character's attributes – boost their strength, speed, observation powers, etc. The better your hero's attributes the more options you'll have to get to the end of the story.Magium is a thrilling text adventure that should manage to keep you hooked for ages with its story and characters. Plus the first 'book' in the adventure lasts for ages, so you can be playing for hours.
