LINE Corporation has gone way beyond its chat and instant messaging application. It has developed an entire eco-system of apps which cover many other services and one of them is LINE HERE.
Locating your friends and family in real time
This is an app which uses GPS to allow you to be located while at the same time allowing you to see the location friends and family and know where they are at any given moment. Functioning is very simple: you simply have to download the app and add people using LINE or Facebook. The advantage here is that it is less invasive than other apps because users can choose at any time whether they want to be located or not.
It can be useful for younger children or for when you go on a trip with a group of people and you decide to split up at any given time. However, it is worth remembering two things: it only tells you where the phone is, not the person, and it is not designed for controlling or monitoring anyone without their consent.
