A free app for Android, by AlgoTech.The Konane (Hawaiian Checkers) app is a great way to play this ancient and classic board game from Hawaii on your Android device. The app has two modes of play. You can play against the bot or with another player on the same device. The Konane game is a tactical board game in which players alternately move their pieces and seize their rivals' pieces. Half of the board slots are filled at the beginning of the game by the pieces of both players. Each player may remove one piece from specific positions during the first turn. Players then take turns playing and capturing at least one opponent piece in turn order. When a player loses the game because they are unable to make any captures during their turn, the game is over.
