If you’re looking for city-building games, at Malavida you will find a whole load of them to download and install on your Android device. Most of them have convoluted and confusing playability, and are very similar: you build from the foundations up. But if you want to experience a city-building simulator that doesn’t make life difficult, Idle City Empire is a great option.
Can you build the most profitable city in the universe?
Simple and addictive playability
The main feature of this game is not complexity. You just need to place increasingly elaborate buildings as you go, then unlock them and collect money. Each building will make you profits that you will have to then reinvest so that your buildings upgrade and increase your profits. There is really not much more to it. In order to grow your pile of cash you can organize ice-cream parties to increase levels of happiness among your city’s inhabitants, or tap into a whole range of visitors that come to town - including moose, noisy police patrols and even aliens from outer space.
This is an addictive game that is great for relaxing, given that the way it works is very simple and you just have to collect money by tapping or sliding your finger. Also, even when you are not playing, your profits will keep growing and you can collect them later. Place buildings and businesses and watch how your bank account keeps growing at the same rate as your city.
However, some might find this game slow, repetitive and maybe even boring. One of its main downsides is the large number of ads you will have to watch in order to get any of the bonuses, which can become somewhat tedious.
