Hammer Man is a 2D action platformer set in a fantasy world, in which an evil dark knight is threatening to destroy the entire kingdom. As the bearer of a magical hammer, it's up to you to defend the kingdom and destroy the dark knight. Hammer Man's controls are pretty typical for the genre, with buttons on the left side of the screen to move your character, and buttons on the right to carry out actions. Your hero can jump, attack with the hammer, or use the hammer to fly a straight line. The second flying attack can also be uses to travel long distances.Hammer Man's main storyline is divided into more than a dozen different levels. Your mission is to survive to the end of each level, and find a hidden key to open a door. Along the way you'll have to confront all kinds of enemies: orcs, skeletons, bats, and more!Hammer Man is an excellent combination of action game and platformer, with retro 16-bit graphics and simple, easy to use controls. Overall, it's a fun title reminiscent of classic Super Nintendo games.
