Goodville is a farm simulator in isometric perspective where Jane, a depressed young woman, leaves her stressful life in the city to live in the countryside. Here, she must run her father's farm and take care of all kinds of duties.

The interesting thing about this game is that the developers promote it as an experience oriented to take care of the emotional wellbeing of the players. And it is true, this game helps us to learn more about mental health by communicating with the characters in the game and teaches us to better understand our psychological state, but it is not exactly an original and innovative game.
In fact, the mechanics are similar to any other genre game. With simple taps on the screen, we will have to cultivate the field, collect resources, build structures, take care of the animals, manufacture products to sell them, complete missions, and so on. While we are doing so, we will also have to talk to the inhabitants of the village and choose our own answers.
It combines gaming industry expertise with a scientific approach to address mental health issues from a completely new angle.
