The description of God of Light - Play With New Friends
Sparkling physics-based puzzle gameGod of Light is a beautiful and relaxing physics game in which you must light up the Universe using your powers of logic.God of LightSee the lightThe idea of God of Light is pretty straightforward. The game stars a glowing beam of light with a face (known as Joey), and you need to somehow direct this light at an object known as a 'Source of Life'. In each level you need to find the unique way to manipulate the beam of light towards the target.manipulate the beam of lightLight beams in God of Light can be controlled in a variety of ways. You'll need to strategically use the objects that reflect, bend, refract, teleport, or change the color of the light. There are more than 75 different levels and the puzzles get more and more bewildering as you go. Only the first 25 levels are free, after which you need to pay an in-app purchase to keep playing.first 25 levels are freeBeam me upThe basic controls in God of Light are straightforward. You drag the beam of light from Joey with your finger, and can manipulate the various objects with a simple gesture. It works great on a tablet device but can be a bit fiddly on a phone. If you're running a less powerful device you might notice the controls are sticky or temperamental at times when there's a lot happening on screen. I experienced some problems with this on certain levels testing on a Samsung Galaxy Nexus. God is a DJGod of Light is graphically sublime. The fantastical worlds are beautifully rendered and the light beams are electrifyingly bright. One slight complaint is that the blue beams and the green beams are a little too similar in color. Although it's not completely disruptive, it might cause problems for those who suffer from color blindness.graphically sublimeOne of the standout things about God of Light is its soundtrack. It features a haunting original score from ambient music maestros U.N.K.L.E. The atmosphere of the music perfectly matches the look and feel of the game, although it doesn't capture the true magic of the U.N.K.L.E records of old. Beware though that the game is very short unless you're prepared to pay for the full compliment of levels.
