Although Google isn't too keen on people downloading videos from YouTube, there are quite a few applications that allow us to carry out this function on our computers and mobile devices. Amongst the latter, we have to point out GetTube, an app that is basically a client to browse through the video platform and play its multimedia whilst we can also download all the contents hosted thereby, whether in audio or video format.

This is probably the most noteworthy feature of this video download client as it allows us to download contents in the highest quality. Its interface is halfway between the official app and a browser tab, but incorporating a button that provides us access to the management of our downloads.
These are the main features of this app:

We can pause and resume downloads whenever we want.
Play videos in the background.
Built-in player for offline videos.
Support for gesture control.
Support for the download of videos with subtitles.
Download videos in different resolutions.
Obviously, as usual when it comes to apps to download videos, you won't be able to download this application from Google Play, so you'll have to resort to downloading the APK from sites of the likes of Malavida.
