Fist of the King of Fighters is a beat 'em up where you start out controlling Terry Bogard, one of the most popular characters from The King of Fighters franchise, and you have to fight off tons of enemies of all kinds. That said, it won't take you long to unlock and use Joe Higashi or Mai Shiranui, among other characters. The controls in Fist of the King of Fighters is simple: in the left part of the screen, you have the virtual d-pad, while on the right you have the action buttons including a button to change characters or to use special weapons (like Molotov cocktails) which you can get from time to time. The story mode in the game is divided into a series of short levels, where you'll normally have to face various waves of smaller enemies and one boss. Among these bosses, you'll find a bunch of classic characters from the saga. Once you defeat them, they'll join your ranks. Fist of the King of Fighters is an excellent action game that offers practically identical gameplay to the classic arcade beat 'em ups. The game also has excellent pixelated graphics and numerous additional game modes.
