Fishing Season is a fun fishing simulator with some touches of arcade where you have the chance to catch some of the most majestic creatures in the sea with nothing more than your trusty fishing rod and a little elbow grease.The gameplay in Fishing Season is very similar to any other fishing title: through simple quick time events, you try to cast your line as far as you can, then wait patiently until your prey takes the bait. This is when the real challenge begins, as you and the fish wrestle back and forth, a fight that won't stop until you manage to tire it out and reel it in. During this struggle, you'll have to pull the line enough to reel in your prey without exceeding the tension limit, because if you do, the line will break, and fish will escape.Depending on the size and rarity of your catch, you'll be rewarded with a certain number of coins and upgrade materials that you can later invest in buying new and more powerful equipment or in improving the rods you already have in your possession.Although Fishing Season doesn't bring anything too new to the fishing genre, its graphics and gameplay are solid enough to offer a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
