Dungeon Tales is a pure Slay the Spire-style deck-building roguelike game where players can run around an enemy and danger-filled dungeon choosing which paths they want to take. Your goal: reach the end of the dungeon and defeat the final boss. The battle system in Dungeon Tales is very similar to that of the previously-mentioned Slay the Spire. Each turn, players will have five energy points at their disposal, which can be used to play any of the cards in their hand. These cards will let you attack, defend yourself or use different types of skills. What's more, during your turn, you can see what your opponent is going to do, so you will always know what the result of your actions will be. Winning each battle will give you a handful of coins, and you will be able to choose whether or not you want to add a new card to your deck. One of the most common mistakes in this kind of game is to introduce cards to your deck just because there is an opportunity to do so since the ideal situation is to have a smaller selection of cards to create good synergy. In fact, in some places on the map, you can remove cards from your deck. Dungeon Tales is an excellent roguelike card game that offers a very similar gaming experience to that of Slay the Spire, but with a few of its own interesting twists.
