Double Dragon IV is the fourth entry in what could be the most famous 'beat'em up' saga in history. Even better, this title, developed by Arc System Works in 2017, attempts to preserve both the aesthetic and the gameplay of the earlier games of the franchise.The controls for Double Dragon IV have been well adapted to touchscreen devices. The control pad is on the left hand side of the screen, letting you move your character in any direction. On the right hand side you'll find the attack and jump buttons. Using different combinations of these buttons, you can execute special attacks and combos.In the free version of Double Dragon IV you can only access the first episode of the game, which unfortunately can be completed in just 5 minutes. If you want to keep playing after taking down the first boss, you'll have to fork over some cash. But considering the quality of the game, it's something you'll seriously want to consider doing.Double Dragon IV is a great 'beat'em up' that's been successfully adapted to touch screen devices, with exceptionally satisfying gameplay. It's a fitting continuation of one of the most legendary titles of the 80's and 90's.
