Diesel Soldiers: World War is a third-person shooter with a diesel-punk feel, where two teams of up to five players each battle it out in exciting online tournaments. The game also features a number of different characters, each with a unique skill profile.The Diesel Soldiers: World War control system is very simple. Using your left thumb you can move your character around while your right thumb moves the camera and points. Also over on the right side are all the action buttons: switch weapons, reload, dodge and launch special ability. Shooting, as in many other similar games, is automated.Between battles, players can customize the look of their heroes, as well as improve their weapons or add new pieces of equipment. Although only one character is available when you start playing, you can unlock many more, each with a special skill that changes the way you play. Certain characters can set traps on the ground, others can throw grenades, others can create fields of protective energy, and so forth. Diesel Soldiers: World War is an excellent online action game, reminiscent of the great Tacticool, but with a completely different setting. The visual part of the game is also a real treat, with very detailed character models and scenes.
