Chicotaz is a unique game that takes place during Seville's Holy Week. This time, you get to control taskmaster for one of the 'pasos' (also known as floats). Your objective here is to make sure that your brotherhood's float finishes its journey safely and without running over the masses, crashing against the walls, running into trees, etc. Oh, and you can't forget about the time! You must get there on time. Controls in Chicotaz are relatively complex, which makes perfect sense if you consider that you have to guide a Holy Week's float through impossibly narrow streets while completely surrounded by people. The controls are located on the lower part of the screen and they're pretty user-friendly. Use the arrows to move the float towards the corresponding direction. The rest of the buttons will help you stop, continue moving or rest. There are six different floats included in the game and there are also 10 different itineraries, so there's a great variety. As you keep playing, you'll actually discover new streets in Seville. As you can already imagine, each float included in the game is actually inspired by a real float in Seville (with slight variations of the statues, candelabras, the colors, etc.)Chicotaz is a super entertaining game with a unique ambiance inside the videogame world. Plus, it includes a really fun gameplay. The visuals, however, are probably the least eye-catching element of the game. Luckily, the incredible soundtrack and the voice of the taskmaster giving the orders make up for it.
