If you are also worried about the environment, Changers CO2 Fit invites you to reduce your carbon footprint and rewards you at the same time. Would you like to know how it works?
It measures the distance travelled, calculates the amount of CO2 you saved and rewards you with bonus points called ReCoins.
Win prizes by taking care of the environment
Some might say that protecting the environment, breathing better quality air and living a healthier life is a prize in itself. However, as that doesn't seem to be enough for most of us, initiatives emerge like the one suggested by this curious app. Each trip or commute you do either saves or emits CO2, but the idea in this tool is that you can compensate the trips in which you contaminate the most by choosing other means of transport that are more environmentally friendly whenever you get the chance.
This is when this app comes into play. Insert each commute you do and the tool will indicate the kilometers you've traveled and the amount of C02 emissions. Cars and planes will yield negative results, while, if you travel on foot, run, by bike or by bus, the results will be positive and will earn you ReCoins that you will be able to redeem for prizes and discounts. Graphs will also be shown with your total emissions, as well as world emissions.
Besides, you can use this app as a pedometer and record your strolls, runs or bike travels. For this purpose, you have to activate geolocation, but it is a great way (though somewhat limited) of checking your physical exercise. From the menu you can do many activities:
Indicate travels on foot, by bike or by bus.
Read recipes and diet advice.
Get safety advice for your job and ideas for a more conscious life.
Watch various videos with sports information.
Read medical advice and check the minimum medical examinations you should perform.
This app also offers competitions among continents, countries and cities. Besides, your company can also participate, launch challenges and promote its commitment towards social responsibility.
