Backyard Heroes is a turn-based RPG, in which players control a group of three young men that will try to beat the neighborhood's trolls. As is usual in many RPGs, each one of the characters has a special skill: you'll have a witch doctor, a ranged attack expert, and a defense expert.Each character has three different abilities that you can improve as you level up and get better weapons. Of course, these weapons go with the game's juvenile theme: squirt guns, lanterns, wooden swords, crossbows with pillowy arrows, and so on.Throughout the game, you'll go over more than a dozen levels, in which you'll run into three different bosses. You'll need to use your heroes' abilities both wisely and strategically if you want to get out on top from the toughest battles.Backyard Heroes is an RPG with an original and fun approach, and lovely graphics. Sure, it wouldn't have hurt to elaborate a little bit more on the story, but the game's entertaining and straightforward dynamics are much appreciated.
