Having a navigation system on our mobile devices is awesome. We can find our bearings at any time and get accurate directions for making it to our destination. But if we go walking in the mountains and along hiking routes, we will need more accurate maps, such as those we get when we download the APK file of this app.
Don't get lost in the wild
BackCountry Navigator is a map and navigation app that allows us to get instant topographic maps of our area. In addition, they can be downloaded for viewing when we are lost in the middle of nowhere and have no internet connection. It is particularly useful for hikers, backpackers, and ramblers who are worried about getting lost.
Topographic maps for outdoor navigation.
This tool provides us with a photographic outdoors GPS mapping system and turns our mobile into a portable navigator that will guide us in the countryside and in the wild. This means it is not a regular navigation app and we won't find road maps or anything we usually see on other apps like Google Maps.
In other words, this is a topographic map app with a very specific purpose. And as Doctor Brown said: we won't need roads for where we're going.
