Buy, buy, buy! In this capitalist society, we've been told that success has to do with spending loads and loads of money. From the very first moment that we open our eyes every morning, we're bombarded with adverts and subtle messages to purchase goods and services that we don't really need. And as couldn't be otherwise, our phone and tablet can help us to connect to this commercial world. And that's where Alibaba App comes in, an Android application with millions of products in stock.
A very simple and intuitive interface to keep up with your orders and hold real-time communications with suppliers.
Alibaba.com B2B Trade App is a Chinese wholesale, retail and private purchase store. Don't get it mixed up with AliExpress. Although both Chinese webs are dedicated to eCommerce, AliExpress was founded by Alibaba Group, especially focused on a foreign audience.
Through this application, you can purchase goods of dubious quality from the country famous for its dumplings. From gadgets made by Apple (yeah, right) to erotic toys, as well as calendars dedicated to Putin and cat food. Searching for products in any other language that's not Chinese can be somewhat complicated because the translation is even worse than Google Translate's attempts. The peculiarity of this business is that it offers you a price range that you have to bargain with the vendor, although some of them allow you to select a quick budget. From your profile, you can easily manage your purchases, your searches, and your favorite stores, and the app itself suggests different products depending on your history.
Which one's better? Alibaba or eBay?
That's a great question. On both platforms, you can get conned by a tricky vendor. Bear in mind that the Chinese are masters in falsifications and that the majority of items you can buy on Alibaba are from China and have a suspicious quality. But you might be lucky enough to come across a legal seller that offers you just what you need. And although you can bargain a price with certain vendors, if you don't fancy haggling, it's the better option of the two. However, the prices on eBay are higher than on Alibaba, usually without any reason.
